I'm writing my first book, which is something I've dreamed of doing really since about high school. It's taking a lot of my mental energy, but I'm really enjoying the process. It's also been fun to launch a Substack.
Learning
Learning how to make decisions in a more principled and easier way is where I'm focusing. I'm reading at least one book a month and tracking it here. I'm currently focused on learning new songs on guitar and dabbling in acrylic painting.
Career
I'm training large language models to help protect Microsoft and its customers from cyberattacks, and helping to build the next generation of Security Copilot. On the research side, I've been helping build out a cybersecurity benchmark for language models, design an autonomous agent for threat hunting, and investigate new approaches for experiential learning and memory for agents.
Fun
Spending lots of time biking, hiking, and at concerts this summer.
